NYC Specialized High Schools are rated as some of the city's best public high schools. They offer a notch education to NYC residents. Best of, these schools are public schools - free of charge. The only way to gain admission to these schools is by taking the Specalized High School Admissions Exam (SHSAT) that is administered to Eighth or Ninth graders each fall.
Each year, over 20000 students take this exam; however only a small fraction of these students are accepted to a Specialized High School.

Kuei Luck offers a variety of courses for 8th and 9th grade students that helps and prepares students alike for this rigorous exam. With over 10 years of experience, Kuei Luck has careful designed courses to ensure that your children will have the best chance to succeed. We offer two courses. Our SHSAT Summer Prep course covers in detail the topics which will be tested on the exam. Our Mock Exam & Review course will expose students to mock exams modeled from previous exams as well as review the exam thereafter.
Our course is broken up into two parts. The first part of the course, SHSAT Prep Class, takes place in the summer. Students will utilize their summer vacation to learn and master the topics that will be tested on. In the fall, students will start the second phase of the course. Every weekend up till the weekend before the exam in October, students will take a full practice mock exam and then review the exam the following day. Through this combination, Kuei Luck has help many students gain admittance to these prestigious schools
SHSAT Summer Prep Class

Time: Monday - Friday (Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm | Friday 9:00 am- 12:00 pm)
Our SHSAT Summer Prep Class is designed to teach and help students master the subjects tested on the SHSAT exam. Monday - Thursday morning students will receive classroom instruction on topics that the exam covers. Two afternoons a week students will go over in deepth the weekly exam. The other two afternoons students will have optional tutoring.
SHSAT Mock Exam & Review
Date: 9/08/2012 - 10/13/2012
Time: Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Our SHSAT Mock Exam & Review is an exam simulator. Students are given practice exams modeled from previous exams under SHSAT test taking conditions. Afterwards, students will go over the entire exam in depth.
