COVID 19 Update
As I am sure you are all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a lot of turmoil, and wreaked havoc on the public life. Schools have been closed, and everyday life simply put has not been the same. However, it is times like this where camp makes the most amount of sense for children. Now, more than ever, children need camp this summer. For our young campers, camp is an excellent opportunity to refine social skills, as well as adjusting to new settings. Camp is also a great opportunity for all campers young and old, to push themselves to new heights, all while learning more about themselves, what they can accomplish and who they want to be as a person.
Kuei Luck is working hard with our government to ensure that camp will take place this summer. We are updating our safety policy and procedure to ensure that camp is safe. One such safety protocol we are implementing is taking the temperatures of all our staff and campers, making sure everyone is healthy.
We know that many have already laid out a significant amount of money for camp and are worried that camp may not take place this summer. Some families may even not feel comfortable sending their children to camp this summer.
Here are the options we are working on:
If camp will not be allowed to operate this summer: We will offer online classes as an option for families who wish their children to get ahead this summer. If parents do not elect to take online classes, we will offer parents the ability to transfer most of their tuition to the following summer.
If we cannot use a NYC Department of Education Facility: We will look for a new facility this summer.
If camp is opened and parents do not want to send their children: We will allow parents to transfer most of their tuition to the following summer.
For any of these options, if parents would like a cash refund, we are honoring our current withdraw policy. However, we suggest parents to be patient. In the event we are not able to operate, Kuei Luck refund policy would be more flexible.
Please understand that we will not be able to provide a full refund or credit. Camp is a yearlong business and there are costs we incur during the off-season. When parents pay for camp, part of their tuition goes towards that expense.
Kuei Luck has been in business for 20 years and have built strong relationships with many families and our community. With your continued support, we look forward to the next 20 years, building upon our relationships with your family and in our community.
